    Parley

Parley - a modified geodesic dome constructed of scorched wood signifies past, present, and future systems. References include Buckminster Fuller’s utopian structures, the 1960’s US rural artistic community Drop City, and the rooves of rotating Rotolactator milking parlours developed in the 1930s. The scorched charcoal surface of the wood echoes the black painted clapboard timber of agricultural construction and also suggests rebuilding from the wreckage of the Utopian dream.
